Downtown Fayetteville streets are no longer free for parking. For the first time in more than 20 years, parking kiosks, which replaced meters, have been positioned around town. All on-street parking in the downtown area, including handicap parking spots, will follow standard 2-hour or 3-hour limits and are in effect from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays. On weekends those parking spots are free including baseball game days and other downtown events. Rates are $1.00 per hour, with a $5.00 daily maximum in the two parking decks and lots. All "Park Fayetteville" parking locations are free on Saturdays and Sundays unless there is a Special Event taking place.
